Principal Update:
It has been a great week on campus. The weather threw us a curveball again this week but our students and staff responded very well. This weekend will be a 3-day weekend with no classes on Monday in observance of President’s Day.
Next week, Mrs. Fitzgerald and Mr. Linder will be taking a mission trip to Belize to foster a sister school relationship with St. Oscar Romero School. Please join me in prayer for their safe travel and fruitful ministry to the people of Belize. Our students will have the opportunity to interact with our missionaries and the students of St. Oscar Romero via video conferencing.
Our junior high students will continue their MAP testing next week. Our MAP testing will wrap up by the end of the month. Juniors will be taking the ACT test in March.
We continue to work through illnesses in our school community, but hopefully we are past the peak. It is a busy weekend with musical preparations, girls basketball sectionals, wrestling conference championships, swim districts, competition cheer in Ashland and the boys basketball conference and senior night.
