Principal Update:
Next week we enter Holy Week. We will have an all school Mass on Wednesday and experience the elementary school’s performance of the Stations of the Cross on Holy Thursday. It will also be a short week as we will not have school in observance of Good Friday on April 18th.
This past Wednesday during our Mass our school community lifted up in prayer students and a staff member that are entering the Catholic Church. These individuals have made the commitment to join our faith and will be welcomed into full communion in the Church during the Easter Vigil. Congratulations and welcome to Mrs. Sandy Nickoli, Samiya Brent, Evelyn Hernandez, Wesley Shreve, Noah Stamper, and Harper Woodruff.
It was great to welcome and spend time with Mr. Gwinn this week. I know he is excited to join our school community and begin working with our students. He was able to spend some time with our Class of 2026 and I am looking forward to experiencing their leadership and collaboration in making next school year a great one.
The calendar says spring, but the weather hasn’t quite cooperated. I know our spring sport athletes and their families have been braving the cold, wind, and rain over the past few weeks. Hopefully, in the coming weeks the fields and tracks will dry out and our student athletes will be able to do what they love with the warmth of sunshine and low winds.
