Happy Valentine’s Day!
O Saint Valentine, lover of Christ and of the Church, we ask your intercession that we may learn how to love God above all things, and to selflessly love one another.
Today the children celebrate St. Valentine’s feast day by sending notes and candy to those they love - just like he left a note for signed 'Your Valentine. '
Monday (2/17) there will be NO SCHOOL in observance of Presidents Day. Enjoy the extra day off with your family.
At the end of the month, help us celebrate Rare Disease Day on February 28th by wearing green, pink, blue or zebra print! Rare Disease Day uses the symbol of a zebra, as no two zebras have the same pattern of stripes.
Hazel Miller, a Pre-4 student was born with an ultra-rare genetic disorder that causes her to have low muscle tone. This is most easily noticed by the position of her head and some challenges with movement. We celebrate this day to recognize the creativity that God has when designing each one of his children!
Norwalk Catholic and St. Paul High School registration is underway. If you or someone you know has not received the information please contact any of the schools to arrange for information to be shared with them or follow this link to get registered through the
Final Forms parent portal. Looking ahead we will be conducting kindergarten screening. Only those students who are completely registered will receive information about having their child screened for kindergarten. If you have registered already and need to pay the registration fee feel free to contact Julie Grine at 93 E. Main Street Norwalk. Thank you for continuing to choose Norwalk Catholic as a faith based educational partner for your family.
Just a reminder: when school is on a 2-hour delay (weather-related or built-in) MORNING PRE-3 & PRE-4 will attend school from 10:30am-12:30pm. AFTERNOON PRE-3 & PRE-4 attends from 1:15pm-3:15pm. This adjustment is made to balance the school day for morning and afternoon classes. KINDERGARTEN attends school from 10:45am-3:15pm.
THE CLUBHOUSE will be open and available to all Clubhouse registered NCS students in Pre-3 through Gr. 6 during normal Clubhouse hours, 6:30am-6pm. Students must be registered to use the Clubhouse before attending. When school is closed: The EC will be closed for the day—both the SCHOOL and FLYER CLUBHOUSE. On days when a delay is called initially and school is later canceled, children who were dropped off at the Clubhouse may remain in the Clubhouse for the normal operating hours.
On built-in delay days, we have committed to having staff available to care for children beginning at their normal school time. We just ask that you sign up prior to that day so we can be sure to have enough staff available. Please sign your child up by filling out this form:
