Principal Update:
I hope everyone enjoyed their extra long weekend and stayed warm and toasty! I always think snow days are a great opportunity to slow down and enjoy being at home without rushing from one place to the next. Even though this is a short week, we will continue with MAP testing and have Mass on Thursday.
Catholic Schools Week starts on Sunday, January 25th. I look forward to celebrating Mass with our Flyer Family at 5pm at St. Paul the Apostle Church. On Monday, we will start our collection to raise money to stock the blessing box through the winter, and students can wear jeans and a community shirt. Tuesday, we will have our Elementary Living Rosary, and students are encouraged to wear their Flyer attire. On Wednesday, some of the high school students will be doing a presentation on the Belize mission trip, and students can wear red, white, and blue. On Thursday, we have an All School Mass. We ask that students wear uniform clothes, or better, please no jeans, leggings, or hoodies. Friday, we will end this awesome week with a Pep Rally. Catholic Schools are One in an Minion, so we are asking students to wear their Minion themed clothing (yellow/blue). At the end of the week, we will bring all of the coins together, and the Teen Leadership Class will use the money collected to stock the blessing box.
Also during this week, we have our annual Spaghetti Supper on Thursday evening. Students in each grade are asked to bring in an item to help defray the cost of the event. An informational letter and a note on the app were sent home about this event. Click here for the letter. If you are able to volunteer we always appreciate the help.
