Principal Update:
Today, 13 students in 1st through 6th grade celebrated reading 20 books in the first semester by joining the Lunch Bunch. These 13 students each received their own personal pizza, and we sat and chatted about our favorite books. This is just one of the ways we work to encourage our students to have a love for reading.
This week also marks the halfway point of the 3rd quarter. Midterm grades will be sent home on Friday for grades 4th, 5th, and 6th.
We do not have school on Monday in honor of President's Day. I hope everyone has the opportunity to enjoy time together as a family and possibly watch some of the Olympics. Next Wednesday is Ash Wednesday, which will begin Lent. We will hold an All School Mass on Wednesday afternoon, during which our students will receive their ashes.
