Director Update:
I pray you all enjoy the upcoming 3-day weekend. There is NO school on Monday, January 19 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
At the end of January we will be celebrating Catholic Schools week. We are planning a fun-filled week for our students and staff that celebrates the opportunities, identity, and traditions we share as a school community. One exciting EC event is the Ninja Warrior event. Students collect pledges to participate in an obstacle course that is age-appropriate like the Ninja Warriors television show. Pledge sheets will be coming home later this week. Also during this week, we have our annual Spaghetti Supper. Students in each grade are asked to bring in an item to help defray the cost of the event. An informational letter and a note on the app were sent home about this event. If you are able to volunteer we always appreciate the help. Kindergarten students are asked to bring in a pack of juice boxes and preschool students are asked to bring baked brownies on the day of the event (Thursday, January 29) or the day before. Thank you for your support for this annual event.

• Dress - Dress Up Day - Uniform or better
• All School Mass - 1:30pm

• SPH Seniors to visit EC
Next Friday, January 23 our pre4 class will be celebrating Fathers Day. The students sure enjoy having their dad join them at school for the day. Please refer to the teachers' newsletters for specific details about this event.
PTO is selling super bowl squares. The cost of the squares is $20 for four chances to win $250 (once per quarter of the game)! If you would like to purchase a square contact Kristine Livengood at [email protected] or call 419-202-6453.
Just a Reminder:
Please be aware of a few schedule changes that have been made. Our mass times at St. Mary have changed from Thursdays at 9am to Fridays at 1:30pm. This mass change serves as a school only mass and any visitors who wish to attend will be asked to enter through the side door, by the ramp, next to the parking lot. Also, preschool spring parent teacher conferences have been moved up a week. This is a change from the calendar that was handed out at the beginning of the year.
Preschool 3 year olds
• Thursday, April 30 and May 1st there is NO class - Parent Conferences (clubhouse will be available)
Preschool 4 year olds
• Thursday, April 30 - Mothers Day Tea combined for both AM and PM students. No PM class so teachers can have conferences
• Friday, May 1 - NO class - Parent Conferences (clubhouse will be available)
Kindergarten
• Friday, May 1 - May Crowning following the 1:30 mass. All preschool families are welcome to attend this mass!
