Why did I decide to come back to Norwalk Catholic? The answer is simple: Norwalk is my home, and this school is my family.
I attended Norwalk Catholic / St. Paul High School from Kindergarten through 12th grade. In fact, my Kindergarten class was the very first one here at the school and my mom, Marcia Roth, was the first Kindergarten teacher.
I spent the last 19 years teaching in Polk County, Florida, mostly in the middle school setting, focusing on reading and then science. I enjoyed my time in Florida, but it was time to come home.
The Roth Family has a long-standing legacy here; my Grandpa Roth and his siblings, my father and uncles, myself and my siblings, several cousins, and most of my nieces and nephews graduated from here. To say the Flyers are in our blood is an understatement.
It is a privilege to be teaching 6th grade here, and I feel blessed to be a part of not only the Roth legacy, but especially the great tradition of Catholic education at Norwalk Catholic.
