Homecoming Weekend is approaching, and we’re inviting our Flyers to come home and be part of the celebration! St. Paul Band, Flag Corps, and Cheer alumni are invited to join us on Saturday, September 26 for our Alumni Band & Cheer Game and Homecoming festivities. Whether it’s been a few years or a few decades since you were on the field or sidelines, we would love to have you back! We encourage all of our Band, Flag Corps, and Cheer alumni to participate, reconnect with old friends, and bring your family and friends along for a great night of Flyer football as St. Paul takes on New London at 7:00 p.m. at Whitney Field/Contractor’s Stadium. If you plan to participate, please complete the Alumni Band, Flag Corps & Cheer Registration Form by Friday, September 18. Alumni Band ScheduleAlumni Band members will rehearse with the current band, march and cadence from St. Paul to Whitney Field, and join the current band for a special Homecoming pregame performance. Alumni will also take the field at halftime for the traditional “Malagueña” performance and Fight Song. Alumni are encouraged to sit with the current band during the game, play Stand Tunes, and cheer on the Flyers! Following halftime, you may leave or stay for the remainder of the game and join the band for the second-half music and return march to SPHS. Alumni cheerleaders will join our current St. Paul cheerleaders throughout the football game to cheer on the Flyers and bring plenty of Flyer spirit back to Whitney Field.
