Meet Our Newest Flyer: Mrs. Wheeler

Norwalk Catholic / St. Paul High School is pleased to welcome Mrs. Wheeler to the flyer community as a new School Counselor. With a background in both mathematics education and school counseling, Mrs. Wheeler brings a wealth of experience and a passion for helping students grow, succeed, and prepare for their futures.

Early in her career, Mrs. Wheeler served as a high school math teacher before transitioning into school counseling at Vermilion Local Schools, where she worked with both high school and middle school students. She has always valued the opportunity to get to know students, help them experience success, and build meaningful relationships with students and staff. Those relationships, she says, have created some of her favorite memories throughout her career in education.

Mrs. Wheeler was drawn to Norwalk Catholic because of the importance of her Catholic faith and her desire to continue that journey within a faith-filled school community. She is especially looking forward to meeting students and their families and working alongside the staff throughout the upcoming school year.

Outside of school, Mrs. Wheeler enjoys playing the piano, participating in music ministry at St. Paul’s, and spending time outdoors. Students may also be surprised to learn that she was once a St. Paul cheerleader, and she still has her cheerleading sweater! Norwalk Catholic is excited to welcome Mrs. Wheeler and looks forward to the experience, care, and dedication she will bring to our students.
