Meet Our Newest Flyer: Mrs. Skinn

Norwalk Catholic is pleased to welcome Mrs. Skinn to the school community as an aide in Early Childhood. Although her professional background began in business management, market analysis, and commercial real estate marketing, Mrs. Skinn discovered a new passion after becoming a mother. After spending the past 10 years as a stay-at-home mom to her two children, she realized that helping shape young minds was where she wanted her next chapter to lead.

Mrs. Skinn and her family moved to Norwalk from Michigan in 2025, with Norwalk Catholic playing an important role in their decision to make the move. Her husband’s family attended St. Paul. When her own children began attending Norwalk Catholic, Mrs. Skinn immediately felt welcomed and at home. She was drawn to the school’s strong sense of community and knew it was a place where she wanted to become more involved.

As she begins her first year in education, Mrs. Skinn is especially excited to watch students discover new concepts and see their creativity come to life. She looks forward to helping students develop their knowledge, confidence, and leadership skills throughout the school year. One book she hopes to share with students is The Smallest Girl in the Smallest Grade by Justin Roberts, which teaches that everyone, no matter their age or size, can make a difference by standing up for what is right.

Outside of school, Mrs. Skinn enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, especially hiking, swimming, and boating. She also enjoys reading and exercise and always keeps her walking shoes and water bottle close by so she is ready for an opportunity to get moving. Norwalk Catholic is excited to welcome Mrs. Skinn and looks forward to the energy, enthusiasm, and care she will bring to our youngest learners.
