Recent graduates Charlotte Hosack and Chloe Hazelwood were recognized by the Norwalk Lions Club during a scholarship dinner on June 9 at the Elks Lodge. The pair joined four other area graduates from Norwalk and Monroeville who were awarded the club's annual scholarship in the amount of $2,000. After dinner, each graduate gave a summary of their high school activities and future plans. The Lions Club Scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate spectacular scholastic ability, as well as desire to make a profound positive impact on the community. It is determined based on need, academic success, extracurricular involvement, and constructive community influence.
