The elementary has been spending a lot of time learning about the Stations of the Cross. In fact, the conversation inspired something pretty special during Atrium in Miss Link’s second grade class.
The students decided on their own to put together an impromptu play about Holy Week. They talked through which moments they wanted to include and then made sure everyone in the class had a part to play. That evening, many of them went home and created simple costumes and props.
When they returned to Atrium, they surprised everyone with a beautiful rendition of Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter morning. It was a thoughtful and heartfelt way for them to bring the story of Holy Week to life.
