Mr. Conley’s 7th grade science class used pieces of different colored pipe cleaners to construct the molecules necessary for photosynthesis. They learned how carbon dioxide and water turn to glucose and oxygen, using energy from the sun. This activity gave students a fun, hands-on way to see how the process of photosynthesis works.
