The St. Paul High School Mock Trial team recently competed in the Ohio Center for Law Related Education State Competition. After winning in District Competition at the Huron County Courthouse, the team competed at the Regional contest at the Wood County Courthouse in Bowling Green. This competition featured St. Paul, Perrysburg, Toledo St. Ursula and Sylvania Southview. Even though the SPH team performed well, the team from Perrysburg earned the right to compete at the State Final held in Columbus. However, SPH did earn an individual honor, sophomore Molly McFadden won the Best Witness of the entire regional. The regional team consisted of Clover Ruffing, Lucy Dolce, Lexi Newell, Chloe Hazelwood, Jillian Weilnau, Isabella Rizzo, Ava Englert, Molly McFadden, Allyson Takacs and Jacob Collins.
