In Mrs. Phillips’ 2nd grade classroom, a special tradition has become a cherished part of the Advent season. The display was created by her late father, SP alum Bob Brutsche, and it continues to hold deep meaning for the class. Each year, the students enjoy learning about Jesus’ birth, and the tradition serves as a heartfelt way to honor the memory of both of Mrs. Phillips’ parents.
