Mr. Gwinn Weekly Video Update 9.24.2025

happy week St Paul families I hope you've had a great weekend you know I know it's Wednesday but hope it's been a good few days for you and for your family uh for us it's a busy weekend that we just went through right a lot of football which is awesome we love that uh but yeah no so so thankful for this week so far um this video shouldn't be too long there's not a lot of events going on right now I've heard casino night was fantastic on Saturday all kinds of things I had my in-laws in town just so you know in case you were wondering where I was uh and so yeah let's move forward so last night our sorry 2 nights ago we had a a great game great game against Mohawk lost unfortunately with the with the varsity but really hard-fought game uh on Monday nights at the bottom of my list I'm going to jump to it though on Monday night we had a great opportunity to celebrate Miss Miller and her career I know she was already inducted to the hall of fame um for Ohio but uh it was just a special moment where um we got to celebrate her and hear from her a little bit so you know thank you Miss Miller for all of the dedication and the time you've given to the school it's in this day and age in 2025 it's a rare rare person uh to dedicate that much time assignment energy and sacrifice to 1 place so I know your students I know your athletes under your coaches and other parents all very much appreciate uh everything you've given uh St Paul so I know I've only been here for a micro second um but I I appreciate you very much so thank you uh parent meeting for the DC trip is tonight at 6:00 at Mr Fair's room okay so if you have an eighth grader and you get and they're going to the DC trip going on the DC trip uh it is required meeting for Mr fair so please be there in his room at 6:00 uh we have college visits on Thursday so BGSU will be on Thursday uh all of your seniors like not all of your seniors but a lot of your seniors already signed up I believe some Juniors too uh so uh that's good thing happening in the building John Carroll was here on Monday if I remember that correctly so that was a great opportunity we have a new Bible study group starting so maybe encourage your students that would be great to encourage them to sign up for that to sign up so are in the office and also in their religion classes so again great opportunity uh I love that again I love being a Catholic schools it's been a very huge change for my life uh for the life of my 3 I mean incredibly thankful that I could work in a in a spiritual atmosphere so awesome opportunity for our kids Bible study group and of course yearbooks are still for sale I believe if they're not then you know sorry Miss weisenberger uh yeah this is an easy 1 this is a short 1 again we had a really great great week a hard loss on Friday again but that happens right it happens um again you'll see it in my in my little note you know connected to the video I'm so thankful to be here I know my family is thankful to be here my own kids have just just transition so easily and so smoothly and there's a testament to to elementary school and the teachers over there and I'm I'm very I'm so pleased with the football program my oldest son's playing football uh that's been incredibly positive so overall thank you um I know having someone new is is difficult and and I understand that completely you don't know me but I'm encouraging you please you know those of you who come up to me and talk to me that means a lot to me I know that's a risk for you um I'm doing my best to get to know as many people as possible but please I I'd ask you know come up and talk to me at the games or whatever might be I wanted you to know all of you I want to know your stories I want to know your families and I want I'm here to serve and I'm here to help so anything I can do to make sure that your school year is going better I want to do so with that thank you for your time nice short nice short video nothing too crazy to talk about this week have an awesome week St Paul and I'll see you soon
