Welcome New Flyer, Mr. Kromkowski

Please join us in welcoming a new face to the Norwalk Catholic family! We're excited to introduce Alex Kromkowski as a new High School Theology Teacher.

Mr. Kromkowski’s path to teaching began unexpectedly during a summer job at a Boy Scout camp in Indiana. Though he started college intending to become an engineer, it was that experience of guiding and teaching young campers that sparked a lasting calling to the classroom.

Before joining Norwalk Catholic, Mr. Kromkowski taught in Memphis, Tennessee, where he also spent time discerning a religious vocation with the Christian Brothers of De La Salle. His time there shaped much of his educational philosophy and deepened his commitment to working with students.

When asked what he enjoys most about teaching, Mr. Kromkowski says it’s the rich blend of deep, meaningful discussion and shared joy in the classroom—moments when students are fully engaged, laughing, learning, and growing together. One of his favorite memories involves teaching a freshman class. After attending several of his students' baseball games, he was gifted a signed ball by the team—something he still treasures today.

Outside the classroom, Mr. Kromkowski enjoys playing music, practicing Jiu-Jitsu, riding his bike, and cooking. Tea drinker, early-evening thinker, and committed educator— he is ready to make his mark at Norwalk Catholic.

Welcome to Norwalk Catholic, Mr. Kromkowski! We're so blessed to have you in our school family. Let’s Go Flyers!
