Please join us in welcoming a new face to the Norwalk Catholic family! We're excited to introduce Jamie Mulcahy as our new Third Grade Teacher.
Mrs. Mulcahy brings a wide range of experience to our classrooms. She began her teaching journey in Fayetteville, NC, while her husband served in the Army, teaching both 2nd and 3rd grades. After returning to Ohio, she became an Enrichment teacher in her hometown and later earned her master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University. Most recently, she stepped away from teaching to support her family and be home with her three boys—one of whom is starting Kindergarten this fall!
Now, she’s ready to return to the classroom, and her excitement is contagious. She looks forward to building strong classroom relationships and creating a team-oriented, supportive learning environment. Her family’s recent move brought them to the Norwalk area, where they felt immediately drawn to the welcoming spirit of Norwalk Catholic. What started as a school tour for her own children turned into a call she felt deeply in her heart—God was guiding her to take this next step in her teaching journey.
Outside the classroom, Mrs. Mulcahy is a busy mom who loves adventures, gardening, and all things nature. She’s an animal lover with a bearded dragon named Squatch and dreams of starting her own hobby farm. Oh, and don’t be surprised if you hear about her family’s weekend “Squatching” trips in search of Bigfoot!
Welcome to Norwalk Catholic, Mrs. Mulcahy! We're so blessed to have you as part of our school family. Let’s Go Flyers!
