It was wonderful week at the EC celebrating Holy Week with a variety of child-friendly activities leading up to their Easter celebration. The kindergarten students especially enjoyed opening Resurrection Eggs, each one telling a part of the story leading up to Jesus’ trial before his death on the cross and resurrection. The students made Resurrection Rolls—a delicious treat with a powerful message. As the marshmallow melts and disappears inside the roll, it symbolizes the empty tomb and reminds us that Jesus has risen!
