Norwalk Catholic Elementary Costume Guidelines:

• Costumes must be young-child friendly/appropriate (nothing scary, gory, or too grown up)

• Costumes must not have any weapons/toy weapons (knives, guns, grenades, etc.) 

• Costumes must not have small accessories that can easily be misplaced, lost, or broken

• Costumes cannot include items with sound effects, noise, or lights 

• No heavy costume makeup or blood

• No masks

• Hats or wigs are permitted

• Costumes must allow the child to participate fully in school. For example, children should be able to participate in recess or gym class and sit at their desks.

• Costumes must allow the child to use the restroom independently.

Norwalk Catholic Elementary Treat Guidelines:

• Please send treats in the original package with the list of ingredients 

• Any homemade items sent in should include a list of ingredients used 

• Please be respectful of any allergies listed for each classroom 

• Non-edible items (stickers, slinkies, pens) are encouraged
