The minimum requirements for most teaching positions are:

Job Objective: To work with the FCEDO Advisory Board to grow & manage the FCEDO Endowment Fund & faithfully allocate the earnings in support of Norwalk Catholic.

General Summary:  The Director of FCEDO/Endowment and Planned Giving oversees the functions and activities that advance the mission of the Firelands Catholic Education Development Office, articulates its vision among its constituents, and helps to protect and promote the image of Norwalk Catholic. The Director, with the Board of Directors, will formulate and execute the strategic priorities of FCEDO and manage the planned giving and endowment activities in collaboration with Norwalk Catholic’s Office of Advancement and Admissions.

  • The Director of FCEDO/Endowment and Planned Giving position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work with people, and the ability to develop and maintain beneficial relationships with professional colleagues and donors. Candidates shall be self-motivated, outgoing, and results oriented with the ability and desire to set and reach ambitious goals. He/ she must be able to travel, and work some evenings and weekends.

Preferred Requirements

  • Practicing Catholic

  • Experience as a professional fundraiser

  • High level of competence and experience with professional fundraising software and tools: Raiser's Edge, Blackbaud, Constant Contact, GiveSmart, etc.

  • Competent in the use of digital collaboration platforms and concepts: Microsoft Office, Google Suite, social media, marketing, branding, writing, surveys

  • Hold a post-secondary degree in nonprofit or business management, public relations, education, marketing or a related field

  • Current CFRE certificate (Certified Fundraising Executive)

General Summary:  The principal fulfills the mission of Norwalk Catholic by serving as the spiritual, educational, and managerial leader of the school.
